SECPhO is celebrating the incorporation of Photonic Technologies Group (GTF) from the Engineering Research Institute of Aragon (I3A). Their main activity is focused on areas such as:

• characterization and development of both telecommunication networks and optical fibers;
• manufacturing and engineering of multilayer coatings including own developed high performance structures for glass-ceramic, thermosolar or automotive applications;
• development of sensors, systems and optical instruments. Designing waveguides, sensors mainly optochemical with extensive experience in the development of instrumentation for thermosolar plants.

This is a group with key commitment to technology transfer. The close collaboration with private companies and public laboratories has contributed to the GTF over the years with extensive knowledge in a variety of application areas. In addition, GTF acquired outstanding skills in electronics and control systems in order to deliver complete solutions tailored to the needs of the end user, including test and measurement systems.
