Last week, secpho traveled to Asia, specifically to Singapore and Malaysia to open new business opportunities in Deep Tech for our ecosystem as well as to know in situ with our partners in the area the state of the industry in the region.

On the one hand, we participated together with more than 20 European clusters in the matchmaking mission to Singapore organized by ECCP, the European Commission, the Singapore Business Federation, Singapore Enterprise and Enterprise Europe Network. The objective of this mission was to explore collaboration opportunities for our ecosystem in sectors such as healthcare, semiconductors, agri-food, security and defense, maritime, advanced manufacturing, etc.

As part of our trip, we also participated in SWITCH – TechInnovation and Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia 2023, where we met with potential partners and Spanish stars of the startup scene such as Qilimanjaro, Cultzyme, Diprotech, Innomy, Moa Foodtech and Oscillum.

We also took the opportunity to make a prospective visit to Malaysia to identify key players in the advanced manufacturing sector and strengthen ties with our partners of the space sector Angkasa X.

Over the next few weeks, we will be communicating the materialization of these connections into real opportunities to our partners.
