The pandemic has changed our lives and, with it, the way we work. Accustomed to virtual meetings and with increasingly complicated agendas, it is a challenge nowadays to attend an event in person. But the desire of secpho’s members to reconnect with each other led us to put up the “Full house” sign. So, on 12th December, we brought together around a hundred people from all over Spain in the heart of Madrid, with technological innovation as a backdrop. The result of the day was excellent: more than 320 connections between companies and organisations, as well as 18 project proposals involving 63 partners. You can consult the photos of the event here and watch the video in this link.
This great gathering of deep tech experts was attended by entrepreneurs, researchers, investors and large companies from entities as diverse as:
SENER, SEAT, Repsol, Thales Alenia Space, Celsa Group, LIDAX, VALEO Thermal Systems, PCAMI, STANPA (Asociación Nacional de Perfumería y Cosmética), Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Calsens, BCB Informática y Control, Zepren Solutions, Instituto de Óptica-CSIC, Radiantis, EXOM engineering, Tecnalia, Nulab, KDPOF, AsorCAD Engineering, INDO, ICFO, Eurecat, CEIT, Neurologyca, Leitat, ICMAB – CSIC, Kolokium Blockchain Technologies, Infinitia Research, UAB (Department of Animal and Food Science), UCM3, Alteria Automation, OnRobot, VLC Photonics, Ommatidia Lidar, ProCareLight, CD6 – UPC, PI Micos, Mapsi Photonics, Alba Synchrotron, Grupo Álava, Photon Lines, New Infrared Technologies, Stimulo, Tekniker, CEIT, Zabala Innovation, Conexo Ventures, IMB-CNM – Instituto de Microelectronica de Barcelona, VLC Photonics, IOVI Intelligent Vision, Loopdx, 2EyesVision, Last Mile Team, SnellOptics, Hamamatsu Photonics, Recursos láser, SITEP, APPLUS, Draco Systems, BCN Drone Center, Nadetech, Caixa Capital Risc, Delvy, Ponti, AIMEN, ASINCAR y MINCOTUR (Industria Conectada 4.0).
Thanks to the participation of all of them, we were able to enjoy a day full of networking dynamics and, above all, the desire to connect and collaborate. The day began with the Matchmaking Rounds dynamic, where we grouped the attendees by technologies, then by sectors and finally they were divided into groups representative of their value chain, so that they could meet different like-minded professionals from different fields. This was followed by other dynamic called Market Focus, aimed at identifying potential partners for collaborative technological innovation projects in fields as varied as health, automotive, agri-food, aerospace and environmental, among others. Both dynamics were gamified, so that participants were able to exchange contacts and generate business opportunities and projects, with the added incentive of winning some fantastic gastronomic prizes.
There was also time for the Koonstel team to present the platform and its purpose. All the possibilities it offers to make companies’ business grow were detailed: from giving visibility with its own virtual room, to holding events, arranging meetings, creating 3D product designs and even gamifying user experiences.
After lunch, the entire secpho team was at the disposal of the partners by deploying some of the most cutting-edge services we offer: connection with national and international industry, visibility, Koonstel, projects or talent search.
The day ended with the General Assembly, where the excellent results of the strategy followed were presented, the action plan for 2023 was announced and the annual accounts for 2021 were approved.
In short, all those who attended were able to learn more about the essence of secpho: an innovative technological ecosystem that seeks to connect ideas, but above all, people.
The secpho team would like to thank you for attending this special event and we look forward to seeing you at the next one!
