To explore synergies and collaboration opportunities at international level, secpho has launched an iniative of virtual networking called “who is who?”. We will create a space of dialogue to give visibility not only to our members, representing leading entities in technological innovation, but also to all the international attendees.
This special edition in English will be dedicated to robotics, an intersection of science, engineering and technology that produces machines, called robots, that substitute for (or replicate) human actions. Many of us have been fascinated with robots since the 1970’s, thinking of R2D2 from Star Wars. Nowadays, robots are gaining intellectual and mechanical capabilities that don’t put the possibility of a R2D2-like machine out of reach in the future.
Mechanical bots come in all shapes and sizes to efficiently carry out the task for which they are designed. Robots are emerging to carry out tasks that humans simply can’t. Generally, there are five types of robots: Pre-Programmed Robots, Humanoid Robots, Autonomous Robots, Teleoperated Robots and Augmenting Robots. While the manufacturing industry is probably the oldest and most well-known user of robots, nowadays they are also used in other sectors such as logistics, automotive industry, in healthcare or even at home – It’s not science fiction anymore.
It’s a pleasure to count with some of the greatest experts from Spain in this field explaining their latest developments. These sessions will also be recorded and published on our website and youtube channel so that our members get provided with a video-presentation.
Aimed at
- Technical, R&D and innovation managers from sectors where robotics can be applied.
- Experts in robotics.
- Anyone who wants to know closely and in a short and direct format, some of the leading experts in robotics technologies from Spain.
