Quantum theory has radically changed our understanding of how light and matter interact at extremely small scales. For this reason, quantum technologies present a great interest both in terms of research and applications in various sectors. In the following link you can see a brief summary about the application potentialities.

In the last year, some agents in Spain have demonstrated the key role of photonics in quantum technologies, among which are several of our partners such as the ICFO Research Center or the QUSIDE and VLC Photonics companies, in addition to the Ikerbasque Foundation , which have taken a substantial step forward, positioning themselves at a European level as benchmarks in this field.

At secpho we believe that the moment has come for the takeoff of these technologies, whose impact will come to our lives in the coming years. For this reason, we have created this webinar that wants to serve as a meeting point for the entire community related to these technologies, as well as serving as a dynamic forum for launching new initiatives, such as the workshop we will organize in Madrid on May 8.

The objective of the same is to deepen in the quantum technology and in how the photonics can help to develop the sector in Spain. These topics will be developed through presentations by experts in quantum technologies, which are pending to be determined.
