The Smart Agrifood Industry is back in a new format.
Smart Agrifood Industry is a continuous programme of events in virtual format that will bring together leading experts in technological innovation applied to the agrifood sector.
Following our first event in May 2021, the second edition will showcase cross-cutting innovations that apply to food safety and quality control in food processing. Deep tech is a key element in addressing these two areas, tackling major global challenges in the agri-food sector, such as environmental impact and biodiversity loss, food optimisation, as well as food quality and safety.
Deep tech has been a game changer in the food and packaging industries, as it can help in their constant adaptation towards more sustainable development. This involves the incorporation of monitoring elements such as advanced cameras; thermal, hyperspectral or space sensors; robotics and drones, usually combined with technologies such as machine vision or deep learning. NIR spectroscopy or thermography are extremely useful during food processing and packaging.
The Smart Agrifood Industry is the event to catch up on innovation trends to solve today’s challenges facing tomorrow’s industry. The event will take place in secpholand, an innovative online business platform that recreates an interactive virtual environment where you can easily find contacts and connect with customers, partners and technology innovation experts. Matchmaking sessions
The matchmaking sessions will take place in the b2b area, an area reserved for private meetings. Exhibition and congress participants will have an automatic system for booking and managing b2b meetings with other visitors. After choosing a convenient time slot, the system will automatically assign you to a table and the secpho team will take care of all the details, so that all you have to worry about is meeting and making new contacts.
Virtual Event
This fair will be held on the virtual platform secpholand, a powerful platform that blends the benefits of a professional network with those of an immersive 3D virtual environment, which will make you feel as if you are actually attending a physical trade fair.
You will be able to move freely, greet other people, sit at a table and hold private voice meetings, or enter a stand to consult information. All in a natural and simple way. And with a powerful search engine that will allow you to have all the information of the rest of the visitors and their organisations.

How does it work?
- To access secpholand, you will need to install the application on your computer (available for Windows). If you need to ask your IT department for permission, you can pass them this document.
- Once you have downloaded the application, you can create an account.
- Once logged in, you will be able to sign up for the event in the Agenda menu and manage your B2B meetings.

As this is a new virtual platform, we recommend that you do not wait until the day of the event to install it. We encourage you to download the application some days before the event and try it out. It is already available on our website, by clicking on the following button:
