There are multiple possibilities offered by new technologies in the field of industrial maintenance: sensors that monitor variables of each machine and software data systems that analyze information, in real time, on the wear behavior of tools in machines or the degradation of fluids; laser technology for the repair of parts or for cleaning machines by removing layers of materials, such as rust or lubricant; connectivity between technicians and machines to access all knowledge, from anywhere; the use of automatic learning based on artificial intelligence to perform predictive maintenance, among other possibilities. These are just a few examples of the new paradigms facing maintenance technicians.
One of the most remarkable benefits of using new technologies for industrial maintenance is that it is possible to reduce machine downtime to a completely new level. On the other hand, it achieves two important milestones that were previously incompatible: saving on maintenance and offering the highest quality service.
This webinar will discuss new tools for industrial maintenance, such as sensors (external or embedded) and laser systems at any point in the production line (either on the line or directly in the tooling), to measure all kinds of part parameters (temperature, visible defects, internal defects such as stresses, internal cracks, etc). It is also interesting to measure aspects of the tools themselves such as wear, vibration, temperature, etc. The aim is to bring the measurement instrumentation directly to the production line.
This free webinar is going to be held in Spanish and is addressed to:
- Technicians and Innovation Directors from companies in fields such as Telecommunications, Defence and Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, Agro-alimentary.
- Researchers from R&D centres and companies that are experts in photonic and quantum technologies.
