New IEEE 802.3cz Standard: multi-gigabit links for automotive
The 802.3cz standard for the automotive industry specifies speeds starting at 2.5 Gb/s and going up to 50 Gb/s (nGBASE-AU) using bend-insensitive OM3 glass fiber from leading suppliers.
In this webinar, we’re going to show more details about the new standard and IC uses cases in the automotive industry. Also, you can discover new fiber and connectors for these news applications.
About KDPOF
KDPOF is a fabless semiconductor company founded in 2010 in Madrid, Spain. They develop technology for optical high-speed connectivity for harsh environments, such as the automotive or industrial sector. KDPOF’s technology makes use of innovative digital adaptive algorithms to maximize the receiver’s sensitivity. This supports high-yield and reliable optoelectronics production in low-cost CMOS sub-micron nodes, delivering carmakers low risk, low cost, and short time-to-market.
Over the years, they qualified their activities with many standards and quality grades like ETSI, ISO and IEEE.
Nowadays, have presence in different countries in Europe and Asia, such as Japan, China, Korea, Germany, and Sweden, besides Spain, where the headquarters are located.
Target
Automotive OEM for passengers cars, commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, as well as Tier-1.
