One billion euros to boost the green and digital transition. With this premise, the European Union has opened the new call for proposals, within the framework of the HORIZON 2020 Program, dedicated to the European Green Deal, with the aim of stimulating Europe’s recovery from the coronavirus crisis by turning ecological challenges into opportunities for innovation. The deadline for submission of proposals has started on 22 September 2020 and will be open until 26 January 2021.
In collaboration with ZABALA, our expert partner in the comprehensive management of grants, subsidies and R&D projects, we have designed this webinar so that the members of secpho cluster know the keys to submit the files for the European Green Pact call that will mobilize research and innovation to promote a fair and sustainable social transition.
The basis of the call defines that priority will be given to projects that produce tangible and visible results relatively quickly and show how research and innovation can provide concrete solutions to the main priorities of the Covenant.
The call has 8 thematic areas that reflect the main lines of work of the European Green Pact, as well as 2 horizontal areas that aim to strengthen knowledge and empower citizens. In addition, the call includes opportunities for international cooperation, addressing the needs of the least favored nations, particularly in Africa.
