Industrial research on battery manufacturing and recycling
Save the date: 26 April 2024
26th April 2024 at 9:30 CET
Powering the future of sustainable energy
At this event you will be able to connect with experts in battery design, manufacturing and recycling research. Synchrotron light offers advanced analytical tools to better understand the structure, composition and electrochemical processes in both lithium and novel material batteries. This provides valuable information to optimise battery design, improve battery performance, increase battery capacity and extend battery life.
Leading experts in the field and industry professionals will be present to discuss advances and share more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions in the field of lithium batteries, as well as different funding opportunities for companies through the ReMade-at-ARI project. In addition, you will be able to enjoy a guided tour of the ALBA Synchrotron laboratories and facilities.
The ALBA Synchrotron is one of the most important scientific infrastructures in Southwest Europe. The day is organised in collaboration with secpho and is funded by the European project ReMade-at-ARI, a day dedicated to exploring the frontiers of research in lithium batteries and new materials.
