  • Optimización del consumo energético y rendimiento de hardware/software.
  • Pruebas y validación de sistemas en entornos simulados antes del despliegue en campo.
Despliegue on-field
  • Elaboración pruebas de campo y validación de tecnologías en entornos reales
  • Resolución de problemas técnicos durante el despliegue de sistemas

Te encargarás de diseñar y desarrollar soluciones electrónicas. Si eres más de HARDWARE, las tareas principales serán diseñar con Altium y testear y

International Post-award Research Manager

The successful candidate will join the European Projects Office and will be responsible for implementing several activities that can include:

Get involved with ICMAB coordinated projects and participate in project management and coordination activities.
Lead the implementation of project’s monitoring and evaluation activities: Ensure the financial and technical reporting is well planned and executed.
Post-award management of grant-funded projects for the best research outcomes and maximizing the impact.

Requirements

  • Cleanrooms are controlled environments with regulated temperature and humidity and can be extremely noisy. This requires excellent physical condition and strict adherence to safety procedures. The Field Service Engineer must have no medical contraindications or restrictions preventing them from working in such conditions.

Project overview:

Experimental and theoretical study of linear and nonlinear light-matter interaction in nano-structured artificial materials (photonic crystals and optical metasurfaces), in a search for new functionalities in Photonics. Some of the physical phenomena involved are the harmonic generation in opaque region of semiconductors, excitation of plasmonic waves in metals and conductive oxides and topological surface waves. The aim is to maximize the potential impact of nonlinear metasurfaces to new
nanophotonic devices, such as multiple frequency generators, tunable emitters extended in the UV and optical sensors, all into the interconnected fields of nanomaterials and nonlinear optics. The selected candidate will work on the design and measurement of novel nanophotonic structures performing a combination of theoretical and experimental tasks: developing numerical simulations, setting new experimental set-ups and experimentally proving the optical properties of the nanostructures. Occasionally he/she could participate in the sample fabrication through short stays in our collaborator’s labs. He/she will participate in our international collaborations having the opportunity to carry out international internships in prestigious research groups in USA, Italy or Australia and will participate in national and international congresses to disseminate his results to the scientific community. Student will be part of our active research group, being in contact with other PhD students working on
different subjects in the fields of nonlinear optics, nonlinear dynamics and lasers, research well recognized at the international level.

Consta con más de 150 equipos de procesos instalados en 1500 m2 de ambiente controlado.

Responsabilidades

La persona contratada se integrará al equipo de mantenimiento de la sala blanca del Instituto de Microelectrónica de Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC). Sus funciones serán, bajo la supervisión del responsable de mantenimiento:

• Realización de las tareas de mantenimiento de las instalaciones de la sala blanca.
• Comunicación y resolución de incidencias en el funcionamiento de las instalaciones de la sala blanca
• Mantenimiento y ejecución de trabajos en instalaciones eléctricas y cuadros eléctricos de todas las instalaciones de la sala blanca.

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer with an interest in developing medical instruments, who will be instrumental in the growth and expansion of 2Eyes Vision.

You will work alongside the entire team and share all your experience and expertise. As a startup, we need a versatile individual with a desire to grow and transform with the company.

An ideal candidate will have a background in developing APPs for iOS and/or Backend and will have additional experience in working with hardware devices. He/she should have an interest in developing medical devices, enthusiasm about supporting the growth of the team, a desire to be challenged, and strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as interest in working in the dynamic, fast-paced and versatile environment of a start-up.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain APPs for iOS and the backend that supports the database for our applications to drive different instruments, leading internal developments and coordinating developments by third parties.
  • To support the R&D and Manufacturing teams with the development of new algorithms and software for signal processing, image detection, process automation, etc.
  • To test and document software developments (including user manual, assembly or configuration instructions if required)

Industrial PhD in AI

Industrially focused research project and PhD education to be carried out in collaboration between a private company, 2Eyes Vision, and a public research institution, the Medical Image Analysis and Biometry Lab (LAIMBIO) of the University Rey Juan Carlos, in Madrid.
2Eyes Vision (www.2eyesvision.com) is a spin-off company of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) with the purpose of creating and developing technologies for visual diagnostics and corrections.
The LAIMBIO (University Rey Juan Carlos) is internationally recognized in the fields of imaging processing. offering an excellent scientific environment in which to develop a scientific career.
The project will focus on the application of AI algorithms to improve the diagnostic and treatment of vision-related diseases and conditions.

Role

  • The successful candidate will lead the development of AI-based algorithms to improve the diagnostic and treatment of eye diseases.
  • Research and engineering-oriented project.
  • Publication of results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences resulting in the obtention of a PhD.

Requirements

  • The candidate must have completed a Master of Science in Engineering, Physics or related fields by September 2025.
